I always order planes equipped with wifi because ________ and I work on these flights. When I asked the Pilot why the wifi was not working he replied that this plane was not equipped with wifi. I advised that the plane I ordered had wifi. He told me the plane I originally reserved was switched out due to a problem and that the original plane did have wifi.
While this was disappointing what made it worse was that ________ mother had hit her head and our daughter had to take her to the emergency room to be examined right before we left her house to head for our flight. We told our daughter that the plane had wifi and that we would be able to communicate so we could answer any questions the doctor or she may have. As you can imagine this was upsetting to Heather and I that we would not be able communicate with our daughter for the entire trip.
I understand that planes are sometimes switched out due to varying issues. Although Anthony’s email this morning stated that he or One Flight would contact me immediately in the event of a schedule change. What is most bothersome is that we were never notified of the plane switch out (or I missed your notification). In addition the pilot told me that our plane had a smaller under carriage space for luggage than the original plane which meant that most of luggage had to be placed inside the cabin. I believe the original plane had 41 cubic feet.
Had I know the plane switch out would not have wifi or limited luggage space I would have requested that the replacement plane have the same luggage compartment dimensions and wifi.
For some reason our experiences since we joined have not been stellar by any means. In particular, for __________ as she is not a fan of One Flight. I am having to convince her to change her mind on perception and experience with One Flight but another unfortunate situation like today makes this increasingly difficult.
